Many people are concerning themselfes with the thought, how could they love the robber, terrorist, murderer, thief or the liar? As I was wondering about this, a story was brouht up by God into my mind.
Some years ago I was evangelizing, and later on spiritually nursing a gipsy family. In this family the elder son had been sentenced to prison, for committing a serious crime, which according the social adjudication was considered as a heavy offence. Once I was visiting them, the mother was cooking in the kitchen. She shared, she would just prepeare for visiting her son in the prison, and is cooking the favorite meal for her son. She was sharing about her prisoner child with the deepest, and hottest love I’ve ever heard. I was wondering: how can somebody love such a wicked, and depraved jail-bird, and dancing attendance on him?
Usually God is explaining the spiritual things to me, by using the analogy of the physical life, and so did He now. He told me: „My son, for this mother, this sentenced prisoner is not a criminal, a depraved jail-bird, but HER SON, and so she can SEPARATE, her SON, from the SIN THE SON committed, and SO DO I”!
Because the person sitting in the death-cell is also HIS creation, and son. And the same way I’m related to my own children., because daily several times I do forgive my children, and treat the offender independent of he offence. This time I understood it to the end of my life. Everybody has got air enough, gets the daily sunshine, rain, and God ensures for all of his creatures the necessary circumstances for this life, and among of this all the possibility to converse, and get saved by His grace through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. This chance is given to us only in this earthly life. Don’t neglect it, snatch at this chance!
Start today to think the same way about your neighbour, because „you are partaker of the divine nature”, – if indeed!?
